Sugar Cookie Frosting

1/2 C. butter (room temperature)

1 lb. powdered sugar

3 Tbsp. half and half

2 tsp. vanilla extract
( for thinner frosting add more half and half)

In mixer bowl, beat butter until very smooth, add powdered sugar, half and half, and vanilla. Beat until very smooth. Tint with food coloring.
